All requests for appeals of an Electrical Code issue from a local jurisdiction will be accepted Monday thru Thursday by contacting the State Electrical Inspector with jurisdiction in that county. Appellants (the person(s) challenging) are required to have the following:

  1. the Code section(s) in dispute
  2. the interpretation and contact information of the Chief Electrical Inspector of the local jurisdiction, and
  3. the appellant's interpretation of the Code section(s) in dispute

Whenever an inspection has failed due to a violation of the electrical code, upon request of the permit holder, the local electrical inspector shall provide the permit holder with the section of the electrical code that has been violated.
