NFPA 1033, 2022 Standard for Fire Investigator Professional Qualifications
After successful completion of this course candidates will receive the Fire Investigator Technician Fire and Rescue Commission IFSAC Certification.
*NFPA 1033 Fire Investigator Technician Certification is also eligible for recipients to gain ProBoard accreditation. To gain ProBoard accreditation, applicant must complete the ProBoard application under 'Certifications' on their OSFM 24 profile.

Pre-requisite(s)
The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).
The candidate must have a signed letter from their department head of their sponsoring agency.
